Fostering an animal is a meaningful and rewarding experience, but it is also a serious responsibility. Miami Animal Rescue places animals into foster homes with the expectation that they will be cared for with patience, consistency, and compassion. Our foster program is designed for individuals who have previous experience with animals or a strong foundational understanding of animal care, behavior, and safety. Fosters must be able to recognize basic health or behavioral concerns, follow instructions provided by the rescue, and communicate clearly and promptly with Miami Animal Rescue staff.
